A screening assessment gives a profile of a student's learning strengths and weaknesses in:

• phonological awareness

• phonological memory and processing

• working memory

• word reading and comprehension

• spelling

• cognitive ability

• takes 2-3 hours

Please note: this is NOT a diagnosis. If a screening assessment suggests a dyslexic profile, a further full diagnostic assessment should be undertaken by a professional with a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). Please see Useful Links page to find APC holders in your area.
